Career Mobility and Inclusion at Multiverse
We have a culture built on fair systems, clear expectations, and inclusive collaboration to ensure every Multiverser has the opportunity to grow and succeed here.

The facts

63% of employers identify skills gaps as the major barrier to business transformation in the next five years (source(opens new window)) - closing these gaps is essential to unlocking AI’s potential.
AI can be an accelerant to inequality or a solution. Which direction it goes depends on access and upskilling. Creating opportunities for AI skills advancement is vital to power social mobility and economic growth (source(opens new window)).
Only 22% of people working in AI and data science are women (source(opens new window)), and women make up ~30% of AI professionals (source(opens new window)). If we fail to equip everyone with AI skills, we lock people out of economic opportunity and security.
At Multiverse
- Our mission is brought to life internally through our Career Mobility strategy. Career Mobility is how we ensure every Multiverser has clear pathways to develop the skills they need to excel and become their most AI-enabled self. It’s how we create a high-performance and inclusive environment that inspires everyone to do the best work of their careers and bring their full selves to work.
- For us, this is more than a business case; it’s a core belief. The only way to build a truly generational company that thrives in the age of AI is by investing in people. Career Mobility is our blueprint for doing just that - creating a company where equitable systems drive the exceptional performance needed to help our workforce win in the AI era.

Our focus areas
Our research shows that women, both within MV and against our external learners benchmark, report lower levels of AI self-confidence. It’s crucial that AI adoption and confidence happens for everyone at Multiverse, regardless of background or demographic. We do this by focusing on two core pillars:
Empowered Careers
Empowered People
Empowered Careers
We create equitable promotion and progression processes, powered by systems that fairly reflect an employee's contribution and potential. We do this by:
- Building a fair and transparent performance, reward, and recognition framework. This means assessing the skills and behaviours we need to win and being data-led in our decisions.
- Providing clear pathways for our people to develop future-critical skills. This includes not just technical capabilities, but also essential leadership and collaboration skills.
- Increasing access to our own world-class Multiverse apprenticeships and learning, ensuring our people are also benefitting from our mission.

Empowered People
We create a high-performance and high-support culture where the best talent in the world feel valued, psychologically safe, and empowered. We do this by:
- Ensuring our policies and processes meet the needs of all Multiversers, so everyone can perform at their best.
- Collaborating with our ERGs to build a stronger, more connected culture.
- Delivering an intentional workplace experience that drives the collaboration and innovation necessary to stay ahead - bringing Humans Together.
