Multiverse is proud to partner with the Black Young Professionals Network for the 3rd consecutive year
From ensuring equity of access to our incredible apprenticeships to creating routes to the boardroom for a diverse group of future leaders - our approach to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) has always been crucial to achieving our social mission. We are delighted to continue our partnership with the incredible BYP Network, who are closely aligned with our mission and values.
Partnering with BYP for greater impact
We’re delighted to announce our extended partnership with the Black Young Professionals (BYP) Network - three years strong! There’s no doubt that this will help us reach even more exceptional professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Through the years, BYP and Multiverse have collaborated on incredible projects that have benefited the Black community and individuals from underrepresented communities.
BYP Network was formed to connect Black professionals worldwide, providing access to role models, career opportunities and business support.
With 150,000 members globally, and over 1000 corporate clients including Google, Ebay, TikTok, Morgan Stanley and more, the network is growing from strength to strength. They’re on a mission to shift the Black narrative, and we are proud to continue our alliance with them on this journey. Together, we’ll be working on content, events and networking opportunities for their community of professionals.
Our achievements with BYP so far
In 2022, our partnership with BYP resulted in some incredible achievements:
- We hosted a BYP x Multiverse networking event in our London office where we welcomed 50 community members to hear from a panel of speakers and spend time networking
- We collaborated with BYP to host a webinar that focused on building a strong CV and interview skills
- We were sponsors at the BYP Leadership Conference 2022 and 10 Multiverse employees and apprentices attended the event to hear from and network with inspirational speakers
- We’ve had multiple newsletter features including a spotlight on a current Multiverse Coach, Temi Anubi(opens new window), who found her dream role through the BYP jobs board - read her story here(opens new window)
Looking ahead
In 2023, our BYP partnership is going global! BYP is expanding their network in the US and we’re proud to work together on this exciting new venture.
To kick things off, we hosted an event in our New York office in partnership with BYP to celebrate US Black History Month. We hosted 60 community members in our office and organised a panel event with speakers from Multiverse and OneTen to discuss the topic of ‘Leading Systemic Change’. This was the largest US event to date for BYP and we’re already excited to attend their inaugural conference in New York in May, with members of the Multiverse team attending in person.
