These terms explain what happens when you have a guided conversation with Atlas, our AI coach, about how you work day-to-day. You'll get a personal summary based on what you share, with practical suggestions for where to focus next (the "Service"). By using the Service, you're agreeing to what's set out here. These terms cover only this first guided conversation with Atlas - the one that helps you and your employer understand your skills. Atlas may also appear across our other products and services, and your use of it there is governed by the terms that apply to those products, not by these.
A conversation with Atlas helps you understand your own skills - your strengths and where you might want to develop. Looking across everyone who uses it, it also helps your employer see your organisation's overall skills gaps and plan learning opportunities.
Atlas uses AI-assisted technology to generate insights and recommendations.
You see your own results. Your employer only ever sees results at a team level - grouped together and not tied to you individually.
We use what you provide to give you your results and recommendations, and to help your employer understand the organisation's skills gaps. We also use it to improve our products and services, understand how they're being used, and compare patterns across the organisations we work with - but only ever in aggregated or de-identified form, meaning it can't be traced back to you. This is part of how the Service gets better over time - the patterns we learn help improve the guidance Atlas gives, including for you.
What you share through Atlas is treated as confidential. We limit who inside Multiverse can access it, and handle it with appropriate care.
We keep the information you provide for a reasonable period, in line with our internal retention schedule. You can ask us to delete it, and we will - or anonymise it where deletion isn't technically possible. Personal data (like your name and email address) is handled separately under our Privacy Policy.
Beyond that, here's what we'll never do:
When using the Service please don't:
The Service is provided free of charge, to help you and your employer understand your skills. While we aim for accuracy, and we build these tools with real care, we can't guarantee that every result will be complete or error-free, and nothing produced through the Service is formal advice or a qualification. Treat your results as a helpful starting point, not a final word.
Our liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the fullest extent the law allows, and we won't be liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded under the law, including any rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by agreement.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace anything you were told about it beforehand.
We may update, pause, or discontinue the Service at any time. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll let you know. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you're accepting the revised terms.
We may rebrand or rename Atlas from time to time. If we do, these terms still apply - a name change doesn't change how we handle your data.
These terms are just between you and us - nobody else can enforce them. We may transfer them to another Multiverse group company or a new owner of our business, but your rights under them won't be reduced as a result; you can't transfer them to anyone else. If we don't act on something straightaway, we haven't given up our rights, and if part of these terms doesn't hold up, the rest still applies.
If you give us feedback or ideas about the Service, you agree we can use them freely and without any obligation to you.
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. This doesn't affect any other rights you may have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
