Eligibility Criteria
Completing the Prior Learning Section in Your Application
Tell us about your Prior Learning experience!
We want to ensure that you learn a significant amount of new skills and will not be duplicating any existing knowledge while completing your apprenticeship. This is required of us by the government as our apprenticeships are paid for by Levy funding.
This also means that we cannot allow individuals who are completing a degree or another apprenticeship programme onto any of our programmes (regardless of whether it is self- or Student Loan-funded).
Completing the Role Fit Section in Your Application
Let us know about your role!
It will help us understand if your position will provide you with the right tools and opportunities to apply your learnings in a meaningful way.
Depending on the apprenticeship you’re applying for, we may ask if:
- You have the appropriate software access for the programme
- You have the opportunity to fulfil Off-The-Job training
- You have access to appropriate data sets (if applicable to the programme)
- You have the opportunity to work with data for a sufficient number of hours per week (if applicable to the programme)

Completing the Intent Section in Your Application
Make your application standout by taking the time to demonstrate how the apprenticeship is a great fit for you and your aspirations. The Intent section will ask you questions designed to ensure that:
- You’ve discussed the apprenticeship with your manager, including Off-The-Job training and that you have a support plan in place (please provide 200 words min)
- You understand the programme learning areas and that you have thought about how you will be able to apply them in your role (please provide 200 words min). Review Data Literacy, Data Fellowship, Advanced Data Fellowship and Business Transformation Fellowship modules (please open a new tab when viewing)
*If your application includes a Motivation section, Intent will only look for answers about manager support.
Review your programme module and the manager support guidance before completing the Intent section of your application.
Helpful Tip
A great application provides as much detail and context as possible to help our Admissions team during the review process. The more information you provide about your enthusiasm to complete the apprenticeship and why you believe the programme is a great fit for you, the better.
